texte = Does exclusivelock prevent lookups and searches in a locked db? Or does it prevent only actions that might *change* a db such as append, replace and delete? Clearly there is a difference between allowing other threads to READ vs. WRITE to a locked db, but maybe the programmer who wrote the exclusivelock code did not distinguish these differences ... and the docs are vague and unclear about this issue. Personally I see no reason for exclusivelock to prevent a db from being accessed via lookups and searches since they cannot modify the data. But I'm not the one who wrote the exclusivelock code, and this issue is critical to me if I have any chance of using WebDNA for my new project. Thanks.
