Take the following with a grain of salt as we're in the throes of learning too much at the same time.We tried using: [showif [CANEMAIL]=T]Can EmailYes[/showif]in the detail.tmpl, but we get exactly the opposite result we expected. In the above case, Can Email will only show up if we set [CANEMAIL]=F in the line when the catalog.txt has CANEMAIL set to T !?If we use hideif we get the reverse behaviour, still reverse logic as far as we can tell. What we wanted to do was just display Can Email if it could be done, there is little point in displaying it if it can't be done and might confuse the customers.Since we've been flailing around with too many tests and edits we may indeed have this all wrong, so don't go off trying to debug anything if it works right as far as you (PCS) are concerned. If you see anything wrong in how we implemented the above line we'd like to know, likewise, if there is a known problem we'd like to know that too. Thanks again, and thanks for what looks like a winner of a product !! -SvenPS Does www.DigiKey.com use your software ? The flavor of their pages sure is familiar after going through your sample pages !PPS All my questions are a good sign. We've _really_ made progress today and we're really enthusiastic about where we think we'll be able to take the PCS Web Commerce Solution for our particular application._____________________________________________________________________ Sven U.
