As you suggest, using the cart number as the identifying ID for a parallel database record will get around it and I guess that's what we'll end up doing. Other than the ugliness of doing that in what is otherwise a _very_ elegant environment, my only concern is that it might lead us into bad development/use practices.I think we now have a pretty good initial feel for the Catalog part, so now it's time to start looking at the Merchant part too.Until we get to the next set of questions: Thank You ! -Sven_____________________________________________________________________ Sven U.
