It uses three of Twitters API's (streaming, search and rest) to download bids placed on Twitter for selected real estate in my bizarre online auctions, and to upload tweets to Twitter from the bids placed directly on my site. Then it uses WebDNA to sort and store this and other auction data on the server, and to display the premium auction data to paid subscribers. As far as the business is concerned, I give away these properties for free to my auction winners, or in some cases the winners buy them from me at half their current market values. I'm financing the half-price deals personally so my buyers can flip them fast for some huge profits. Here's an example: market value appraisal $100K, auction winner pays me $50K for the property then resells it low and fast for $85K. After $5K in commissions the winner clears $30K in about a month. Not bad for a $55 investment ... :) Brian, I grew up outside of Syracuse and I'm reconsidering upstate New York for some of these auctions, so if you'd like to discuss this venture with me by private email just let me know, thanks. Sincerely, Ken Grome Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
