texte = Hi Guys, here is a couple files that you can use to test [append] with on your installation of WebDNA. First, create a database and save into a test directory with proper permissions: ----test.db------------ tIDtfield1 ----------------------- then, put code into that same directory (again with appropriate permissions): ----index.html--------- [closedatabase db=test.db] [append db=test.db&AUTONUMBER=tID]tfield1=somevalue[/append] [commitdatabase db=test.db] [showif [url][F_action][/url]=deleteall] [closedatabase db=test.db] [delete db=test.db&netIDdatarq=find_all] [commitdatabase db=test.db] [/showif]

Search result:
[search db=test.db&eqtfield1datarq=somevalue&astIDsort=1&tIDtype=num] [numfound] record[hideif [numfound]=1]s[/hideif] found
[founditems] [index]: [tID]:[tField1]
[/founditems] [/search]

Hit to test append
Delete All records ------------------------ Hit the "Hit" href to take a look at your append in action. If this works, the problem is most likely in your code. Remember, WebDNA's .db's reside in RAM first, then on your HD.. so take that into consideration when writing your apps.
