WebDNA is much easier to work with than php
An entire back office is running smoothly accross an intranet system thank you to WebDNA language
I have some 35 sites, each consisting of some 200 pages and 150 .db's running the back office functions for a senior home care franchising business. It is like a temporary help agency, with some 1500 active senior clients and over 3000 employees. WebDNA handles all data, scheduling, billing and payroll. I can also monitor all franchise activity from a master console set of web pages. We're presently running over $2M/year through it and we're just getting started.
I did all of this myself working 3 days/week over about a year.
I recently hired an ex-Oracle/Yahoo expert to help with some of the development. We agreed that doing the same work in mySQL/PHP would take a team of at least 5 people working at least a year to duplicate the system.
