texte = Hi Bob thanks for your thoughts on the webdna list. Do you have time if I farm out some of my income stream for this project to you if we can get something working right away.. I don't have time to learn something(s) all new from scratch.. I want to hack something working. I am not running the server.. and there are holes in my understanding .. but I am sharp and motivated.. just behind the curve. I have never used any of the tools people mentioned on the webdna list as their working pdf solutions. Knowing what you know, what do you think is the simplest/fastest/ cheapest method for me to get a variable-length pdf template formatted exactly for Avery 5160 labels? I assume what I need to do is create a pdf template form that is the avery labels 5160 format and then use something to populate it on the fly.. like FDF/pdftk. Did you use pdftk to stuff the FDF data/file into your pdf template? Or what do you use to stick the FDF data into the pdf template? Can the pdf template allow for variable-length (i.e. a final pdf file that is [n] pages long)? How would you generate the pdf template? Would the template need to be pure ascii? Is it possible to tell a static pdf template to be [n] pages long? etc. -Govinda On Mar 16, 2010, at 2:34 PM, Bob Minor wrote: > btw wkpdf uses webkit and its converts css well.
