I =do a lot of API work - and am finding more and more api's that only have =JSON results. I fumbled around with convertchars and middle to strip out =what I need to get the data, but it's a pain in the ass :)
The =particular api I am working with is: http://www.bueda.com/ which is a =semantic analysis engine for keywords and I am sending lists of data =through it to create a common taxonomy amongst numerous datasets, on a =common topic. So I am basically parsing, and writing to a database for =now, collecting data at this point.
I did look at using =javascript or something, but this is only the 2nd api that I have wanted =to use that didn't have xml as an ouput option and I bailed on the first =one. This one I really want to use, though I emailed the team and they =are working on an xml version, but no timeline. So I'll fumble my way =through for now.

could you just =use JS to grab the data (saving you the headache of hacking/grabbing it =in WebDNA).. and then do a hidden AJAX call to write that data to your =WebDNA db's.? I.e. use JS as the middleman to make the jump to =webdna?

The =particular api I am working with is: http://www.bueda.com/ which is a =semantic analysis engine for keywords and I am sending lists of data =through it to create a common taxonomy amongst numerous datasets, on a =common topic.
