He passed on to me a workaround webdna script he developed to deal with this. I have not had a go with it yet because I am still waiting to hear if this is what the client wants, now that we know the situation is what it is. If it is still interesting, here, and if I understand you right (what you are asking me to send you), then I can send to you. But I need to clarify - would you need to see one of the email files *before* it gets rewritten by that spam filter? Or do you mean you want me to just send you/post the raw source of an multipart/alternative (webdna- sent) email that I *receive* from that server? If the latter, then here it is below (with just the addresses changed for privacy) Note that is was generated from the code you posted, on that problem server. On the one hand, I hesitate to take much more of your time here when the host has just told me what he thinks is this ("known") issue; (and I may need your help sometime to *really* hack something, so I hesitate to spend your time now ;-) . But if you feel like taking a look, then great! It will help me understand email structure better (AFAIK the one below, looks alright, even for HTML multipart/alternative type (?)), and also then (I assume) help me appreciate the what/why of the host's workaround script, before I get into it (if it comes to that). -Govinda ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return-path: Envelope-to: govinda_test@myPersonalDomain.com Delivery-date: Tue, 21 Dec 2010 15:36:26 -0500 Received: from styx.stellium.net ([12.162.122.5] helo=echo.stellium.net) by scr1-201003000000.spheryx.net with esmtps (TLSv1:AES256-SHA:256) (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1PV8wb-0000AY-QH for govinda_test@myPersonalDomain.com; Tue, 21 Dec 2010 15:36:26 -0500 Received: from arachne.stellium.net ([12.162.124.20]:41079 helo=arachne) by echo.stellium.net with smtp (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1PV8xj-00008g-1u for govinda_test@myPersonalDomain.com; Tue, 21 Dec 2010 15:37:35 -0500 Date: Tue, 21 Dec 2010 15:36:20 -0500 to: govinda_test@myPersonalDomain.com from: update@clientsDomain.com subject: Email Subject MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="12929637765109168" X-Spam-Status: No, score=-0.0 X-Spam-Score: 0 X-Spam-Bar: / X-Spam-Report: Spam detection software, running on the system "scr1-201003000000.spheryx.net", has identified this incoming email as possible spam.
