Re: WebCat2b13MacPlugIn - syntax to convert date
This WebDNA talk-list message is from 1997
It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 10621
interpreted = N
texte = Nothing to do with Carts, straight data base stuffUsing a post form and entering a date, but not todays date. Asking user toinput something like 03/17/97. I can convert it to seconds from I guess01/01/01, but trying to get it back to 97/03/17 so I can do an easy sort insdir=de. when doing a [format date %y/%m/%d][form.newsortdate][/format].I get an answer of 03/01/01 where [form.newsortdate]=the converted date.Is what I am trying to do possible. And if it is where is my thinking gonesouth. Or should I just store the converted date and sort on it. I neverdid declare any of these variables type=date in any of my calculations.===============================================Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 702.850.2900 Fx: 702.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com===============================================------------------------------------To leave this talk list send an email to macjordomo@smithmicro.comwith BODYunsubscribe WebDNA-Talk------------------------------------
