texte = Nothing to do with Carts, straight data base stuffUsing a post form and entering a date, but not todays date. Asking user to input something like 03/17/97. I can convert it to seconds from I guess 01/01/01, but trying to get it back to 97/03/17 so I can do an easy sort in sdir=de. when doing a [format date %y/%m/%d][form.newsortdate][/format]. I get an answer of 03/01/01 where [form.newsortdate]=the converted date. Is what I am trying to do possible. And if it is where is my thinking gone south. Or should I just store the converted date and sort on it.
