texte = This is exactly the type of thing we hope to see happen moving forward. One of the plans (and another thing on my mile-long to-do list) is an "app market" of sorts on webdna.us where everybody can list and offer their modules or code for free, or for sale or however they wish to distribute. Others can rate the "apps", etc., and over the long-run modules that are far superior to the ones we've discontinued (Storebuilder, etc.) should "rise to the top" and become the "go-to" modules for whatever someone is trying to accomplish. WSC would not charge for this, nor would we host the modules, instead the app sore would be more of a directory and people would come directly to you to do the transaction however you feel it needs to be done. I'm hoping to get a breather here late this week or over the weekend to really sit down and gather our thoughts into a comprehensive and realistic project brief for myself. One thing I absolutely intend is to unify the forum login with talk-list emails as well as the site itself, so this way any activities done on the site by you all (app store, forum/talk-list, download/purchase) can be handled in a single account by a single identity. I definitely want to unify, centralize and simplify wherever possible. I'll keep everybody posted. -Dan -------------------------------------------------- From: "Govinda" Sent: Tuesday, February 01, 2011 1:20 PM To: Subject: Re: [WebDNA] Re: WebDNA version 7 feature list? > someone outta hack together some functions to replace the commerce tags on > webdna 7.. and even sell them so that everyone running legacy shopping > sites feels secure going forward without having to deeply overhaul tons of > that legacy code. > > I am up to it.. but just do not have that time! > > (What I'd really like to be doing is working on an idea for a startup I > have that would be a certain hit!) > > -G > > On 2011-02-01, at 8:56 AM, William DeVaul wrote: > >> As long as the purchase tag and orderfile context are not deprecated, >> please send me a link for the OS X version of WebDNA 7. >> >> I know we can create tags, but is there a way to create a context >> should the orderfile context be eliminated? >> > > ------------ > Govinda > > --------------------------------------------------------- > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > archives: http://mail.webdna.us/list/talk@webdna.us > Bug Reporting: support@webdna.us > Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
