I use mod-rewrite and .htaccess to manage search-engine-safe/friendly URLs on my sites. This line in the .htaccess file: RewriteRule ^(.+)$ /parser.tmpl?requestedurl=%{REQUEST_URI}&query=%{query_string} [L] passes the requested URL and query string onto a 'parser' template which then searches the various databases and builds the page. Only problem is if I pass data from a 'multipart/form-data' form (i.e. when uploading an image), then the parser.tmpl page does not get the [requestedurl] or [query] variables. It's as if WebDNA ignores the rewritten string after the question mark. Is this behaviour on purpose I wonder? The variables can be read if data is passed from a standard form. - Tom --0003255535aab1868d04a7dd3b9b Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi all,

Weird problem - hopefully someone may have come = across it before. =C2=A0 I use mod-rewrite and .htaccess to manage search-e= ngine-safe/friendly URLs on my sites. =C2=A0 This line in the .htaccess fil= e:

=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0RewriteRule ^(.+)$ /parser.tmpl= ?requestedurl=3D%{REQUEST_URI}&query=3D%{query_string} [L]
passes the requested URL and query string onto a 'parser&#= 39; template which then searches the various databases and builds the page.= =C2=A0 =C2=A0

Only problem is if I pass data from a 'multipart/fo= rm-data' form (i.e. when uploading an image), then the parser.tmpl page= does not get the [requestedurl] or [query] variables. =C2=A0 It's as i= f WebDNA ignores the rewritten string after the question mark. =C2=A0 =C2= =A0Is this behaviour on purpose I wonder? =C2=A0 The variables can be read = if data is passed from a standard form.
