texte = webdna.fcgi is not intended to run at server level, though it would not = be technically difficult to do it for somebody with linux skills. The idea is to run one copy per website, each website being totally = independant from the others. =46rom a "centralization" design with the = module, it goes to a "dissemination" design with the FastCGI, allowing = users to run WebDNA on a website, on a VPS or a dedicated server and not = depend anymore from hosting providers. Any user would be able to upgrade = by just replacing the fascgi, while we could have other users with older = webdna.fcgi versions on the same box. You just buy the license = you need: if on one single box, you have a heavy loaded website and = another one with low traffic, you could buy a license for the first one = and run the other as freeware. It also runs very well with fast webservers with small = footprint like lighttpd. I would to see WebDNA 7 as an attractive product for newcomers, = designers, young developers and webmasters.
