I think someone once had a suggestions to write a cron job to check the process and restart it if dead. You will have to search the talk list archives for that. I recall this as a common question over the years.  I think someone once had a suggestions to write a cron job to check the process and restart it if dead.  You will have to search the talk list archives for that.
