By "default SMTP server" do you mean the value named POPMailServer in the webdna.ini file? And by "tick value" do you mean the value named EMailSeconds in the webdna.ini file? I'm pretty sure these guesses are correct, but I want to be sure so I don't get confused about this now that I'm trying to clarify it in my mind ... :) So if my understanding is correct (as stated above) it seems that WebDNA is coded internally to look in the EmailerPrefs file for each of these 5 values -- which are written from the webdna.ini file in this order, with one value on each line: POPMailServer EMailFolder CompletedEMailFolder EMailLogFolder EMailSeconds Yet the following four email-related prefs from the webdna.ini file are "missing" from the EmailerPrefs file: ProblemEMailFolder MailSMTPPort MailAuthUser MailAuthValid So my question is this: Can we safely conclude that these four "missing prefs" are never written to the EmailerPrefs file because WebDNA never looks for them there -- and instead WebDNA looks for these four prefs ONLY in the webdna.in file?
