texte = 421 Hello Chris, First, I am not looking for free. I want to support WebDNA and your=20 efforts. My primary website gets @ 25000 - 50000 page views per day. I=20 do on occasion host a charity website. My situation... I run Ubuntu and manage all my workstations and secondary servers. I=20 have under contract a local developer to manage my web and mail servers=20 and he prefers CentOS. He has a lot of custom stuff installed/configured=20 that do other jobs of which is beyond me. This guy is going on vacation tomorrow and is expected to be at my=20 location in about 4 hours and will be here this evening until everything=20 is up and running. He has 2 servers running CentOS5 in a cluster using Gluster for website=20 and email. Something on the primary server went corrupt and I am=20 guessing that Gluster copied the errors to the secondary server. The primary server is currently powered down. I copied a backup copy of=20 the cgi-bin directory from a backup to the secondary server to get=20 things up and running. So far today, running on the secondary server, we experienced the=20 "WebDNA Engine not running" error once so I am not sure where the root=20 of the error is. It has been in my plans to invest in a new pair of servers later this=20 year at which time I was going to as this 3rd party guy to install the=20 most recent version of CentOS. As he is going on vacation tomorrow and I only have his attention this=20 eve, I am asking your professional opinion of what CentOS version to=20 upgrade to and which version of WebDNA I should purchase and install. * 1 - Is there a speed/performance difference between the Server and=20 FastCGI versions? ** 1a - Does V8.1 only run on CentOS 6 or will it also run on CentOS 7 *** What versions of apache will work for the above? ** 1b - Does V8.2 only runs on CentOS 7 or will it also run on CentOS 8 *** What versions of apache will work the for the above? ** 2 - Will all of the WebDNA code in my templates written using V6.2 be=20 interpreted without the need for any modifications? ** 3 - If you suggest the fastCGI, I understand there is a different=20 licencse for each domain. If I purchase a second license for ocassional=20 charity sites of which I typically on have one of these running in=20 addition to my main site, will the license allow the re-naming of a domai= n? ** 4 - Is removing WebDNA 6.2 as easy as just removing it from the=20 cgi-bin directory? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
