This is why I question your understanding of how a proxy server does its job. 1- Do you understand that a proxy server knows the browser's real ip address, but most are configured to NOT pass this info on to the web server? 2- Do you understand that WebDNA can communicate only with the web server, and never with the web browser or the proxy server (both of which actually know the web browser's real ip address)? 3- Do you understand that WebDNA cannot get the real ip address from the web server because the web server does not have it? If you understand all this, it would seem to make sense that WebDNA cannot report the web browser's real ip address when a proxy server is involved.
