Yes,= logical.  The [fieldname] context returns a text string, for = example, "Price".  In order to continue interpreting as if you = typed "[Price]", you must surround the text with brackets and tell = WebDNA to interpret it as if you literally typed "[Price]" in your = template.  So from the inside out:

[listfields db=3D...] = [interpret] [[fieldname]] [/interpret] [/listfields]
[listfields db=3D...] [interpret] [Price] [/interpret] = [/listfields]
