So I manuallyedited that file again, to undo what the cPanel installerhad overwritten, and I thought this would probably fix theproblem, at least until I had to reinstall cPanel again.Nope! It turns out that cPanel was programmed to overwrite theApache config file once or several times a day, and everytime it did this it would break WebDNA again.I thought about writing a script that would compare myWebDNA-compatible version of that Apache config file withthe currently running version, and if the script found anydifferences it would immediately overwrite that file withmy WebDNA-compatible version again. But this is a lame way to setup and run a web server, so Iabandoned the idea, and instead I concluded that cPanel andWebDNA are simply not compatible. But it's been a while, so maybe things have changed?Regards,Kenneth GromeWebDNA Solutionshttp://www.webdnasolutions.comUrgent/Emergency Phone: (228) 222-2917Website, Database, Network, and Communication Systems---------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed tothe mailing list talk@webdna.usTo unsubscribe, E-mail to: talk-leave@webdna.usarchives: http://www.webdna.us/page.dna?numero=55Bug Reporting: support@webdna.us.
