Ken, [writefile] is doing ev=erything I want in regards to passing along that [name] variable from the f=orm entry that is being used to create the page. The [page_name} was always= coming across just fine. I just needed to embed a [name] as a text variabl=e on the new page created.

I've sea=rched for all instances of writefile and there are only 2 as I've reference=d above.

What could be causing that error line?

need to use this code instead of your copyfile code:

[text]theNewFileContent=3D[include companion.h=tml][/text]

[writefile ../[lowercase][=page_name][/lowercase].html]

If this doesn't= work you'll need to modify the code in your
"companion.h=tml" file ... but test this first and see if it
works, be=cause it probably will.
