Arrrgggh!Hi Robert,You can actually have as many different users.db files as you want, andyou can put them anywhere you want - but you have to make sure to changesome of the WebDNA that's included in the security templates so itreferences the right 'users.db' file, that's all.I have several different 'users'db files, and they are all in differentplaces. I even changed their names, because it really doesn't make anydifference what their names are.However, when you do this, you may have to use some WebDNA that works likethe [protect admin] tag instead of using that tag directly, because I*think* using [protect admin] tells WebCat2 to look in the users.db that'sstored in the default location.Some time ago, Grant sent a snippet of regular WebDNA code to the list thatdoes the same thing as the [protect] tag, but it's changeable so you canmodify it to reference any users.db in any location on your web site.Unfortunately I cannot seem to find it right now or I would include it foryou here, sorry ...Sincerely, Ken GromeWebDNA Solutions Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
