RE: creating writefile data from a nested search
This WebDNA talk-list message is from 1997
It keeps the original formatting.

texte = Ken -Sure, it works the same as the [sendmail] context in that it keeps the formatting of the text containing the WebDNA. What I mean is[writefile thisFile][search db=xxx.db&neskudata=0]fieldname1 fieldname2 fieldname3[founditems][fieldname1] [fieldname2] [fieldname3][/founditems][/search][/writefile](there are tab characters between the field names and a return character at the end of the line)will write the results of the search to a file, with an extra line between each [founditems] line. If you don't want the extra line, make [founditems] look like[founditems][fieldname1] [fieldname2] [fieldname3][/founditems]instead. The search results are properly written to the file, by the way.Hope this helps,Marc EagleStarNine Technologieshttp://www.smithmicro.com/>From: WebDNA-Talk@smithmicro.com on Thu, Jun 19, 1997 12:28 PM>Subject: creating writefile data from a nested search>To: WebDNA-Talk@smithmicro.com>>Can I determine what goes into a [writefile] file by making the 'guts' of>that file the result of a search?
