I have been wresteling with this very issue myself. I had thought of the apple (or some other script) to do this, but it just seems an ugly and slow solution.Seems nearly all cgi's can writh files and append files all over the place. But try to delete something on a mac and you're stuck for a simple command. Where is unix when you just need to rm file* ;-] I'd even settle for a 'del' key. Oh well....Instead you could setup a universal db to collect all the order information, and the store name. Have the [SendMail] direct the store to a private usr/pass protected .tmpl file that would do the search for their store name and return the order information. You can then allow the store owner to delete the record in the db after processing.Better yet, train the store owner to check this private URL a few times a day or as needed to pick up his orders and forget the [SendMail} notification all together. When I first looked at WebCat2 I thought WOW 100 data bases! Seems like they get used up in rapid fashion doing specific small functions. The creation of universial db's that can be used by many sites seems a necessary approach. Much like the CA_TAX.db could be used by any site that needs CA sales tax by zip. Thus my suggestion for the above. By adding the store name to the db, any store can use the some db to do this search for their orders. I may have missed something here but it seems the way I will go.Now for my question...I have been using the 'ClassifiedAds' example to do some work. I need to allow the 'poster' of the add to edit or del AS WELL AS the site administrator. Perhaps it is because it's Friday and my brain hurts, because I just can't think of a way to do this.Any help??<--Glenn-->~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Glenn & Renee Davis Exclusively Web / Net Highway (916) 887-0678 Web Page Design / Hosting Services POB 157, Cool,CA 95614-0157 http://www.ExclusivelyWeb.com http://www.Net-Hwy.com &&& ||| (@ @) (@ @) ----------------------------ooO---U---Ooo---------------ooO--(_)--Ooo------->> Mailto:renee@Net-Hwy.com Mailto:glenn@Net-Hwy.com Mailto:renee@ExclusivelyWeb.com Mailto:glenn@ExclusivelyWeb.com Graphics Design Webmaster Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
