texte = I'm using SiteGuard to protect my Subscriber access pages. Currently the access is granted by entering the username and password. You can see it at http://www.fabian.com/subscribers/subscribers.htmlWe currently are publishing a revolving PIN which is printed on the newsletter. With the purchase of WebCat we are going to start using unique identifiers for each subscriber (their account number). In a nut shell here is what I want to do.Use only the account number to access the subscriber pages rather than username and password(I know its less secure and we are willing to deal with that.)I found out that if you create a user in SiteGuard (i.e. account number) and leave a blank password it will accept it fine. So I want to bypass the normal Username & Password dialog box and present a form that asks for their current account number. So if they go to one of the protected pages via bookmark they first are sent to the login form. This form would be similar to the link shown above but would have a place to enter the account number. The next question: Is it possible to record the accesses for each account number. I don't need to track the person through the site (although that would be nice), but only record the number of times this person has accessed for a given time frame. I would vision this info being recorded in the SiteGuard database. Is this possible? I hope it is.MarkP.S. For those that are curious to see what is behind the subscriber door. You can use 732 in the username field and leave the password blank. This gives you an example of what I'm trying to accomplish.Mark Anderson Fabian Investment Resources 2100 Main St, Suite 300 Huntington Beach, CA 92648 Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
