texte = Am scratching my head (of thinning hair) on how to create a database for ShipCosts.db that will allow me to charge for freight based on:(a) weight and (b) shipping method....And, oh yes, in the future, I'll want to also break out charges by: (c) zip code (first three digits) ....but am not prepared to deal with zip codes yet! Before my newbie brain explodes, am seeking advice on this! To address weight and shipMethod....should I set up a ShipCosts.db similar to below, then use Search with And to look up the correct price...something like: [Search db=Shipcosts.db&eqWeight=[Weight]rqShipMethod=[ShipMethod]] Shipping Costs: [FoundItems][ShipCost][/FoundItems] [/Search]Or is there a better way to do this, say with more than one database (one for Ground and one for NextDay?) or using LookUp? TIA!Dale Stokdyk World Romance dstokdyk@dvs.mv.com-------------------------------------- EXAMPLE db:Weight ShipMethod ShipCost 1 Ground 3.00 2 Ground 4.00 3 Ground 4.50 4 Ground 5.00 1 NextDay 7.00 2 NextDay 7.00 3 NextDay 7.00 4 NextDay 9.00 5 NextDay 11.00-------------------------------------- Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
