texte = Hi,I'm trying to work up a presentation for a potential client with a very complicated catalog (and I'm new at all this, to boot!). I'm wondering if it is possible in WebCatalog to combine snippets of SKUs to make a longer SKU.Here's an example:The OS550 series has three basic styles (OS551, OS552, and OS553); each is availble in three different configurations of output (A, B, C) and four quality of focus (1, 2, 3, 4). This makes for 36 combinations. The client expects the customer to order using concatenated numbers: OS552-C-3, for instance; and all three parts of the SKU are required.I have been able to set up a search that gives option lists for each field, but I have not been able to pass the combination through to the shopping cart as the actual SKU. Is there a way to do this by adding string values?I should say that this is a typical example from this catalog, but there is no real standardization; some products have two options, others may have four. And then there are the accessories that are unique to certain products....Any help will be greatly appreciated!Michael Hunter________________________________________________________________________ Express Communications Telephone: 203.838.2754 149 Water St. Fax: 203.899.0495 S.
