texte = I can't say enough good things about Webcatalog. Designing sites is simply so easy if you like text html! But if I am given just one area I'd be allowed to be critical of, it would be shipping and tax calculations. I've now done 5 sites, actually had fun making them, right up to the end, when I have to write the business part. For some reason, Webcatalog just can't get out of it's own way when it comes to calculating the subtotal field. All of my sites calculate tax and shipping based on order total. I have NO need to tie up two or three extra databases to look up things that are figured in a calculation. And the sample sites that come with web catalog are NO help in this respect. Today's problem: shipCost [math][showif [subtotal]>20]1.00+[/showif][showif [subtotal]>40]1.00+[/showif][showif [subtotal]>60]1.00+[/showif][showif [subtotal]>80]1.00+[/showif][showif [subtotal]>100]1.00+[/showif][showif [subtotal]>130]1.00+[/showif][showif [subtotal]>160]1.00+[/showif]4.95[/math] Doesn't work. generates a nuber above $11.95 every time, even if the order is for $1.00 (in which case the shipping would be $4.95)Please help.
