Displaying xx number of characters

texte = I'm looking for a way to display only the first 80 characters of adescription field. Can someone point me in the right direction? Do I needto use the new [GetChar] function? If so what would the syntax look like? Ihavn't been able to find anything in any of the reference pages (beta orotherwise).
