The problem is not with embedding applets, but rather Netscape 3.0 on both Mac and NT CAN'T dowload the class files because template security preferences do not allow remote access to files with that extension (which is .class). It works fine with all other browsers. After I changed the relative path to absolute as Grant mentioned (MUCH THANKS),it now works! So, for those who include applet paths, use absolute or else...Have a great Friday,Olin.....................................................................
