emailer and bad addresses

numero = 15297
interpreted = N
texte = I've got my store set up to make the from address on e-mailed orders theaddress of the customer. Problem with this is that Emailer/EIMS chokes whenthat address is not valid. This happens enough to be of concern, generallywith AOL users, who leave off the @aol.com and Compuserve users, who usecommas in their address. When e-mailer chokes like this, it tries to sendthat again and again, creating error after error and not processing theother messages in the folder.I'm under considerable pressure to leave the cusotmer's e-mail as the fromaddress. What I need is a good test-for-properly-formed-email-addressvalidator that I can use inside of a showif on my purchase page. Anybodyhave one that works particularly well?TIA,Lukehttp://www.upline.com___________________________________________________________________________For software for Network Marketers, check out http://www.kaizensoft.comUpline is Online: http://www.upline.com___________________________________________________________________________ ============================ Luke Melia|| Was it for this my |||| life I sought? || Snail Mail:|| Maybe so and || 106 South St. Suite 209|| maybe not... || Charlottesville, VA 22902 ===========PHISH============ (804) 963-2608
