texte = I've been getting WebCatalog set up on a new webserver -- Umax J700 w/ 344 meg ram, 266 Mhz G3 upgrade and fast/wide hard drive. I'm running the .acgi so I can set its memory requirements separately from those of the webserver (WebTen) itself. Currently, in anticipation of some large databases, WebCatalog is set to 140 meg. Unfortunately, WebCatalog has begun to unexpectedly quit with an error type 2 (three times today alone). I haven't been able to find any pattern to the errors, and the server is only getting light traffic. Does WebCatalog have any known problems with the G3? (I hope not, since performance is markedly improved.) Is there an upper limit to the memory that WebCatalog can utilize (or database size it can handle -- there's a 7 meg db in there now)? Would I be better off going back to the plugin, or do I just risk bringing down the whole server?Any insights would be greatly appreciated,Rob Marquardt Designer/Resident Wirehead Toast Design300 First Avenue North, Suite 150 Minneapolis MN 55401 612.330.9863 v 612.321.9424 f www.toastdesign.com Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
