If a situation everarises that requires intervention, the following message will appear inthe status screen of your web server: BIAP W*API Patch just saved yourbacon. To check the effectiveness of the plug-in, select the BIAP W*APIPatch command from the server's plug-ins menu. This will open up astatus window for the plug-in describing the number of times that thepatch was activated, and the number of times that it saved your bacon(i.e., intervened to prevent a potential crash). The same informationwill be written to the server's status screen.NOTE: Every time the BIAPW*API Patch says that it saved your bacon, it has intervened toprevent one of several serious errors that could have caused a servercrash, such as memory corruption, network lockup, etc. Although not allerrors actually cause crashes, preventing errors is a good idea.
