texte = Hi all,I got tired of receiving multiple copies of emails sent by webcat, so I decided to track it down. I figured that I had a duplicate email forward or mailing list configured in EIMS to send myself multiple mails.Instead, I tracked it down to what appears to be either an Emailer 2.1.1 or EIMS 1.2 bug.Any addresses in the Bcc: field of an email are sent to that user twice!I tried sending a bcc to several different accounts, and got the same results. My mail server logs confirm that the message is destined for the bcc: user two times.I switched my mail server in EmailerPrefs to a local unix server running sendmail, and only received one copy. However, using Eudora Pro to send the identical email with a bcc: header to both EIMS and the Unix host results in only ONE delivery.Changing the header to Cc: results in only one mail being sent in all cases (when the smtp host is EIMS 1.2).So does Webcat generate malformed email, or is EIMS 1.2 selectively broken? I will test this with EIMS 2.1 as soon as I get back in the office. Can anyone else provide additional data points before I chase my tail for too long? Thanks,Dale ________________________ ___________________________ | Dale LaFountain | mailto:dalel@dhorse.com | | MIS Director,WebMaster | http://www.dhorse.com/ | | Dark Horse Comics, Inc.| Phone: 503-652-8815 x324 | \________________________|___________________________/ Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
