texte = Hi,Is anyone using SiteEdit Pro (a PCS product) with WebCatalog for image fileuploads? I have been doing some experimenting (SiteEdit Pro 2.0.4, WebStar2.1, WebCat 2.1), and so far so good. I use the following form for theuser to specify which file to upload, then SiteEdit Pro renames the fileand puts it into the proper folder based on the username and password.
Cool... but after the user pushes the Send File button they are taken tothe SiteEdit Pro listing of all the files in their folder (including thefreshly renamed file they uploaded). In my case, this is not necessary (Iuse WebDNA for deletion etc.). I looked through the list archives (nicework PCS!) and see that last November Grant mentioned it is possible to setit up with WebDNA so that the SiteEdit interface is invisible to the user.I would like to return a WebCat generated page after the button is pushed.Darned if I can figure out how to do it though...Also, how would this work using ActiveX Controls for IE browsers? Would adifferent form need to be returned based on the user's browser, or perhapson the user and whether the ActiveX box is checked in their SiteEdit userpreferences. Up to now I have only tried uploading files with fairlyrecent versions (3.0+) of Netscape (Mac and Windows). I would prefer touse a browser-based upload solution, rather than requiring the users torename their files accurately and FTP them to their folders. Thanks!Wendell
