texte = Is there a way to generate a SKU dynamically? Here is the issue. I have a database I set up for a local township. People inthe town will submit records to the database announcing activities etc. (kindof a bulletin board). The township administrators want to be able to approvethe postings before they go live. So I set up a hidden field that getssubmitted with each new posting called APPROVED which by default is set toFalse. When you search the postings as a user you only get to see the recordsthat are APPROVED as True.If you go in as the Admin. you only see the records that have APPROVED set toFalse. On the Admin. page I have a link which I want to change the status ofthe record to APPROVED = True. I have the link set up the way I thought itwould work but it changes the status of ALL the records.I looked at the samples in the general store and they seem to be using the SKUin the link to specify the record to change. I am not using a SKU, but therecords do have a title field and I tried to use it in the same manner withoutany luck. Is there a way to generate a unique SKU without the person postinghaving to add it in with their new posting? Can someone give me a littleadvice on this??Thanks,-- -= Charles Kline =-_____________________________________Pixel Dust Productions -- MacSultantsckline@webtown.comckline@macsultants.comhttp://www.webtown.comhttp://www.macsultants.com
