texte = Hi all,I am considering a new server setup that would have multiple Macintosh/Webstar servers. I intend to start with two and move up to as many as needed to handle future traffic. I will have WebCatalog installed on each server and distribute the load across all servers with Men and Mice's DNS server.I was thinking that it might be easier to use a single fast file server to hold all the website templates, databases, and image files rather than trying to keep all the servers synchronized. There is a remote possibility that two of the servers might generate an identical cart number. I was wondering if Pacific Coast has tried this or thought of a way to tag the cart number with some sort of server ID number. Has anyone else tried this? any comments or suggestions?-Jeff Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
