texte = I tried this. The problem was that since the page before it passes its search params with a url, I can't grab them to use in the next search.OK, If on the previous page you click on the image mapped graphic for items for sale, it sends the set search params that look for items in the db in the field LISTITEM which in this case would be set to Item. I don't know how or even if I can grab that value so that when this new search like you have below I would need to make YourSearchParams be [LISTITEM] from the url on the previous page. See the deal is that this is supposed to show a title on the page that lets them know where they are. I want to use this same kind of thing to show a masthead with the correct title in it.I hope I am making sense. If anyone interested wantss to see this thing in action go to http://www.medfordlakes.com then follow the link to the swap meet. Thanks,CharlesBTW, this is the VERY FIRST THING I wrote with WebCat and am not opposed to rewriting it using contexts which I like better and would make this alot easier. This job was a freebie and I don't want to rebuild it if I don't have to. That is why I am going through all this in the first place. >>The problem I am having is that the first [FoundItems] repeats the >>[LISTTYPE] once for each record. > >You can always embed a search directly into the page: > >[Search db=blah&YourSearchParams&LISTITEMsumm=T] >[FoundItems][Capitalize][LISTTYPE][/Capitalize][/FoundItems] >[/Search] > >Technical Support | ==== eCommerce and Beyond ==== >Pacific Coast Software | WebCatalog, WebMerchant, >11770 Bernardo Plaza Court | SiteEdit Pro, PhotoMaster, >San Diego, CA 92128 | Typhoon >619/675-1106 Fax: 619/675-0372 | http://www.smithmicro.com/ > > _______________________________________________________________ Charles Kline ckline@macsultants.com MacSultants Professional Solutions for Computer SystemsPhone# 609-273-3255 Fax# 609-273-3721 Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
