texte = I'm having a cache problem at www.surf4food.comIf you log in as a new shopper for the Fresno/Clovis area....buy an item, then View Detailed Cart, you can see the items that have been purchased. This works fine the first time, no matter what....but then....buy anotheritem, and view detailed cart again.Depending on your settings in IE 4.0 and 5.0 (maybe others), you eitherwill or will not see the last item you purchased....if you are pulling thepage from cache, you won't see it, if you are not pulling the page fromcache, you will see it.The settings in IE 4.0 are here:View > Internet Options > Temporary Internet Files Settings > Check for newversion of stored pages. It all depends on the setting you have selected....if you have Never orAutomatically selected, it pulls from cache no matter the expires metatag or the pragma meta tag. With either of those settings, IE ignores themeta tags.I guess I just need a work-around, but I can't seem to find one....is therea way with WebCatalog to over-ride those cache settings? Right now I havea note at the bottom of the page, telling people to update the page inorder to solve the problem...but I would rather not have that note....Iwould rather not have that problem.*************************************************************************** What you are speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you say. - Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) - Philosopher and Writer --------------------------------------------------------------Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server. To end your Mail problems go to
