Regartless of where you are in the system, now that won't stop the machine owner from changing it, but it will enable you to use it in your system and if he changes it you can monitor that and even change it when it changes. You have access to webcatalog prefs from db=^../webcatalog prefs. Worse yet, a user from anyone of your sites could write webdna to change it or access it, now how does that sound.
