Thanks John, but I'm trying to avoid using perl. Actually I'm trying to keep the entire solution on a Mac, but I failed to mention that in my original post. I know I can run perl on my Mac, but I'm building a work-around for the existing perl CGI's built for this project, because I need a more flexible solution than the perl CGI's offered by my partner.Steve Crisp called me on the phone last night to learn more about what I need. He says he's already got some SSL routines built into MGI. He's talking to his programmers today about creating some new MGI tags -- so MGI users can access this capability themselves, instead of only having MGI use it internally.Apparently PagePlanet really cares about their customer's needs. Hell, they even care about the needs of people like me who don't even own MGI! If PCS showed the same commitment to their WebCatalog customers, we would have had multi-character string replacement capabilities 3 *years* ago.:(================================ Kenneth Grome, WebDNA Consultant 808-737-6499, http://webdna.net ================================------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
