texte = We're looking at setting up a Web search/locator that will allow people to choose one of our products and enter their zip code, city, state, etc. and search for a store that carries that product. The database file will be updated every two weeks with info from IRI (the supermarket scanner data people). The database will be about 1.5 million records. Each record will be product name, store name and address, and a yes/no field. Has anyone used a database this large with WebCat?I know I could break it into smaller regional databases if necessary. One of our competitors has a similar page, but it sometimes takes minutes to return any data. We want a much faster response.Joe Wilkins webmaster@benjerry.com joe@mercury.benjerry.com------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
