texte = Writing a cart number generator in php would would be trivial. Probably wouldn't take 6 lines of code to make it a function your could include on your pages. Along with having standard if statements where you can supply multiple conditions, having extremely fast code parsing, and having random functions that really work, php is a very stable language where you can depend on things working as documented.MySQL's ability to have field types makes it superior in my opinion. Auto increment fields makes setting new SKU's ultra easy. When a MySQL database is setup correctly, it works like a dream. I've seen MySQL databases take 100's of hits per minute and not flinch when used with logging authentication for ISP dialup.php being free is an obvious advantage and I don't think someone should look for a new line of work if they would choose it for the price.
