Re: Suddenly can't see files...
This WebDNA talk-list message is from 2000
It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 27485
interpreted = N
texte = Telnet to www.copernicusbooks.com on Port 80 then issue GET /index.tplHTTP/1.0
This does not take into account that you are using virtual hosting. Theserver that uses / of 209.223.208.72 is giving me that message.This is a strange problem... I works from some machines and not from others.I don't think its a reverse DNS problem. Could it be browser dependent?James Howarth **********************************Smith Micro, Internet Solutions Div | Formerly, Pacific Coast Software16855 West Bernardo Drive | -------------------------Suite 380 | eCommerce (WebCatalog)San Diego, CA 92127 | Software & Site Development858.675.1106 | http://www.smithmicro.com858.675.0372 (fax) **********************************-----Original Message-----From: Kevin Lippert [mailto:lippert@papress.com]Sent: Sunday, February 13, 2000 10:02 PMTo: WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.comSubject: Re: Suddenly can't see files...On 2/12/00 12:05 AM, you wrote:>The index.tpl does not appear to exist in the root directory of your>server... >>----------->GET /index.tpl HTTP/1.0>>HTTP/1.0 200 OK>Content-type: text/html>Server: >Server: books.com>Content-Length: 38>>Error: template ':index.tpl' not foundBut it's absolutely there (we're currently using Virtual Hosting with name matching, so you have to come in as www.copernicusbooks.com---could this be the problem?). I'm curious, how are you looking up this info? And what is Server: books.com?
