Just imagine what happens when they accidently hit a space before a value thatyou use as your SKU. Excel will not care, but you will have problems trying tolocate the record.John Peacock____________________Reply Separator____________________Subject: Re: ODBC to WebCat Author:

What they really wantis to work remote with their inhouse system and simultaneously add newrecords to their webshop, which is hosted by us.So it looks like their system has to write into some ODBC compatibledatabase on our site and we are responsible to pull the records into theWebCat db. I suspect that ODBC is the choice because this guy on the otherside is firm writing Excel Sheets out of his application - he does it thewhole day...I think we will check the other database periodically or have the workingperson hit a page to update the shop.Peter++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Ostry & Partner - Vienna/Austria - www.ostry.comFon ++43-1-877 74 54 Fax ++43-1-877 74 54-21++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .To unsubscribe, E-mail to: To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to
