Everything is set to user nobody.nobody and that is what thewebserver and WebCatalog deamons are running under. Mandrake is just arepackaged RedHat 6.1 with a kernel that has been optimized for Pentium +CPU's. And of course they have some Mandrake specific packages as well, butthat shouldn't affect the webserver portion as it is standard Apache 1.3.9.I have RedHat 6.1 here at home as well, I could install that on my linuxpartition and see if everything goes well there. Can't install RedHat 6.1on the machine I am having trouble with as it is at a location approx 2hours from here. Should be someone there that can do that on Monday thoughif it works out on my home machine.John W.
