texte = While I understand people won't like this, I actually make it a point to have a variable declaration section on the top of all of my pages like so:[!]Variable Declaration[/!] [hideif [URL][t_textVar][/URL]=%5Bt_textVar%5D][redirect index.tpl][/hideif]Now, I understand that this looks like a lot of work, but all you do is write it once, copy and paste below each time, and then do a quick search/replace on each line for each variable. Works like a charm for me.I think Jesse's idea is also an intersting idea, but wouldn't this slowdown webcat's parsing, because it has to build two variable tables, and then do a comparison on the page's variable table, and then decide which variables to take from where. Unless I'm thinking about the way this is parsed incorrectly...-HowardOn Sun, 30 Apr 2000, Jesse Proudman wrote:> What about: > > [text hardcoded=t]hardcodedvariable=t[/text] > > Jesse Proudman - NineWire Productions > http://www.ninewire.com <-> jesse@ninewire.com > Innovative and Creative Web Design and Hosting > > ############################################################# > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to > To switch to the INDEX mode, E-mail to > Send administrative queries to > > ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
