I want to authenticate against my own members.db, so I hijacked the authenticate code from multigroupchecker like so:[showif NotFound=[lookup db=db/members.db&lookinField=emailaddress&value=[username]&returnField=emailaddress¬Found=NotFound]] [authenticate Unauthorized User] [/showif] [showif [url][password][/url]![url][lookup db=db/members.db&lookinField=emailaddress&value=[username]&returnField=passwd¬Found=NotFound][/url]] [authenticate Unauthorized User] [/showif] [search db=db/members.db&eqEMAILADDRESSdatarq=[username]&eqPASSWDdatarq=[url][password][/url]] [showif [numFound]=0] [authenticate Unauthorized User] [/showif] [/search] This code works fine when I specify the full path to the template:http://www.mysite.com/members/default.tplWhen I try to access the page via:http://www.mysite.com/members/the authentication fails. Re-entering my valid user/pass doesn't work, and I have default.tpl set up as one my index files. If I remove the above code from default.tpl, I can access the page through /members/ as expected. Is this expected behavior, and if so, why?I can work around this problem, but it smells like a bug to me...Thanks,Dale -- Dale LaFountain mailto:dalel@darkhorse.com Vice President of Information Technology, Webmaster Dark Horse Comics, Inc.
