After dealing with an online newspaper {with a lot of umlauts :-( ) system, I had an idea which would help me a lot: Assuming that & is NOT a valid character in variable names, I would like to see... [varname] displays the content of the variable -- status quo[varname&c] should be same as [convertchars][varname][/convertchars][varname&u] = [url][varname][/url] Does this make sense to anybody else? BTW: how does [convertchars] work in the new syntax anyway?
