texte = I am not assuming that people only know WebCat, or also know SQL. I was making a joke based on the fact that the SQL standard has been extended up the wazoo by everyone and their brother. Writing plain vanilla SQL is hard, since you will always be biased by what implementation you first learned on. If you know SQL already, you can use it within WebCat just like any other app that uses queries.As for using SQL within WebCat, it works pretty much like an ordinary [search] context. The docs are as complete as they need to be to get someone started. Your SQL column names become [fieldnames] within the [lineitems] context.
