texte = Once while cruising the archives, I read a post where Grant gave his recommendation when SQL was preferred/needed over webcat. If my memory is right, then among other things he said. ..when the data needs to be shared across more than server... (not an exact quote)That was a pretty old post (and plus I am not finding it now) so I want to ask this question again as we are working on a portal that will hopefully quickly outgrow anything we plan/build now ;-)Assuming *tons* (how many daily users does a low-mediumly popular portal get?) of unique users mostly reading from db's, but ~several hundred-1,000 of them writing to those same few db's daily....at what point would SQL be the recommendation over webcat? Only when more than one box was needed to run the works?
